December 11th

Dear Parent,

We have been enjoying our time working with your child on some fun Christmas songs. We will be performing these songs on December 11th during our 10:30 am morning church service. We would love for you and your family to join us!

If you chose to do so, please arrive at 10:30 am (or earlier) and drop off your child in Children’s ministry. When you arrive there will be signs showing you where our Children’s ministry rooms are located. After you drop off your kids, feel free to attend our morning service in the main building. The service will end with the kids singing the songs they have been practicing. From the stage, your kids will have a seat with you and the service will conclude with a couple more Christmas songs!

As far as dress code for your kids- anything will do (even jeans). It would be awesome if red and green were apart of the attire. If you have any questions, please email me at Lyndsey@FBCSD.com.

Again, we would love for you to join us! Your kids have been working hard to prepare for this very special service.

Sincerely,

Lyndsey White

Operation Christmas Child

Use an empty shoe box (standard size, please) or a small plastic container. You can wrap the box (lid separately), but wrapping is not required. Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift.

Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or a girl, and the child’s age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Print out the appropriate boy/girl label by downloading the artwork to the right. Mark the correct age category on the label, and tape the label to the top of your box. To print the label please Click Here

Fill the box with a variety of gifts that will bring delight to a child.  Use the gift ideas provided on the bottom of this page.

Please donate $7 or more for each shoe box you prepare to help cover shipping and other project costs. You can give online by using our “Follow Your Box Donation” option, or you can write a check to Samaritan’s Purse (note “OCC” on memo line) and place it in an envelope on top of the gift items inside your box. If you or your family are preparing more than one shoe box, please make one combined donation.

Please drop off your shoe box at FBC on Sunday, November 13th or 20th. You may also drop off your box during our weekly office hours from 9am-3pm Monday- Thursday.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
Lyndsey
